EKIS : Jurnal Ekonomi dan Keuangan Islam published the original paper or review about  Islamic Economics and Finance. We are invited to all researchers, academicians, scholars, experts, and practitioners to publish their papers/reviews on Islamic Economics and Finance issues or problems in our journal.

Scope and Focus

Scope and Focus of this journal related to : Islamic Finance include Islamic Banking, Islamic Pawn Shop, Islamic Capital Market (Islamic Bond/SUKUK & Islamic Stock), Islamic Leasing, Islamic Insurance (Takaful), Islamic Cooperation (Baitul Mall Wat tamwil), and others Islamic financial Institution. This Journal also covers the subject of Islamic Economics including Islamic tourism, Islamic culinary, managing of Zakat Fund, managing of wakaf Fund, Islamic Management, Islamic Accountant, and another subject which is related to the Islamic economic perspective. 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Frequency

EKIS : Jurnal Ekonomi dan Keuangan Islam publishes print and online 2 times annually in June and December.

Peer Review Process 

Every Paper or Review that received by Manager Editor will be selected and Processed through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the paper or review will be sent to the reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double Blind Preview Process. After that, the paper or review will be returned to the authors for revision. These processes take eight weeks for maximum time. For each manuscript of paper or review, the reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Reviewer collaboration with EKIS : Jurnal Ekonomi dan Keuangan Islam is the expert in the area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal management and publication that was spread around the national and abroad.

All submitted manuscripts of paper or review will be read by the manager editor. Those Manuscripts evaluated by manager editors to be inappropriate to journal criteria are rejected promptly without external review. Manuscripts evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to double-bind reviewers. The manager editors then make a decision based on the reviewer's recommendation from among several possibilities: rejected, revision required, or accepted.

The manager editor has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published or rejected.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Complaints

The authors who may have a complaint against any of the aspects of their interaction with EKIS : Jurnal Ekonomi dan Keuangan Islam should e-mail to the Editor-in-Chief to zulfadlihamzah@gmail.com. The Editor-in-Chief aim to acknowledge the complaint within 7 days after receiving it. if in doubt, the Editor-in-Chief will consult with other Editors. Further, they should explain to the author the procedure which they will be undertaking to resolve the matter.
