Analisis Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Pada Pekerjaan Welding Di PT. X

Abstract

Welding is an integral part of the manufacturing process. Other manufaktur processes that have been known among other casting processes (metalcasting), metal forming, machining, and powder metallurgy. Products with complex shapes and large sizes can be made by casting techniques. According to Permenaker No: PER.2/MEN/1982, the requirements for a welder or welder (welding) must have skills and must take a welding test with satisfactory results and have an interpreter certificate. Welder is not considered skilled if six months of continuous not perform welding work in accordance with those contained in sertifikasi welder(welding).This study aims to analyze the objectives of OSH in welding work, seen from the application of SOP, maintenance of welding equipment and the use of PPE. This type of research uses qualitative methods with the type of analytical data processing. The informants in this study were K3 Supervisors, K3 staff and welding workers.The results of this study indicate that work safety at PT. X on the application of SOPs has been carried out according to procedures, maintenance on equipment is carried out properly, the use of PPE is in accordance with standards and there is always supervision and sanctions for workers who do not use complete PPE. SOPs are not implemented properly, workers' lack of knowledge is due to never having attended welding training, only relying on experience. We recommend that a review and more supervision of workers be carried out on the SOP and maintenance of the tools used
