Hubungan Indeks Massa Tubuh Terhadap Tingkat Kebugaran Jasmani Peserta Didik Kelas III dan IV Sekolah Dasar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) terhadap tingkat kebugaran jasmani peserta didik kelas III dan IV di SDN Sumberejo 1, Sidoarjo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 50 peserta didik yang seluruhnya dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. Data IMT diperoleh melalui pengukuran tinggi dan berat badan, sedangkan tingkat kebugaran jasmani diukur menggunakan Tes Kebugaran Siswa Indonesia (TKSI) Fase B yang meliputi V Sit and Reach, Half Up Test, Hand and Eye Coordination, T Test, dan Lari Keliling Bangku. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi setelah memenuhi uji prasyarat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik memiliki status gizi kategori gizi baik berdasarkan IMT/U, yaitu sebanyak 34 peserta didik (68%). Tingkat kebugaran jasmani peserta didik juga didominasi kategori baik, yaitu sebanyak 35 peserta didik (70%). Namun, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara IMT dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani peserta didik, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,324 (p > 0,05). Dengan demikian, IMT tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani peserta didik kelas III dan IV SDN Sumberejo 1.
