ANALISIS KINERJA KARYAWAN LAUNDRY SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19 DI RSUD ARIFIN ACHMAD PROVINSI RIAU TAHUN 2021

Abstract

Hospital Laundry during the COVID 19 pandemic plays an important role in preventing the spread of COVID 19. The performance of laundry employees during a pandemic is one thing that must be considered by the hospital, because infectious linen during a pandemic is very dangerous for other people. If the linen is not handled by the right person then the linen can be a medium of transmission for other people. This study aims to determine the performance of laundry employees during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive research design carried out at the Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province in July 2021. The subjects of this study were 1 head of laundry, 2 employees and 1 laundry coordinator. The research instrument used observation sheets and interviews. The results of this study are the availability of work facilities that are still lacking, the condition of the work environment is not good, work motivation does not yet exist, and the work ability of employees is already good. It is necessary to improve laundry management at the Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province, such as adding infrastructure and giving rewards to employees so that laundry activities can run smoothly and employees have enthusiasm in carrying out their work.
