Abstrak

Perception is a cognitive process experienced by everyone in understanding information
about their environment through sight, hearing, appreciation, feeling and smell and is a
process by which individuals organize and interpret their sense impressions in order to
give meaning to their environment. This study aims to determine the differences in
perceptions of SIMRS users before and after the intervention. The research method was
mixed methods using a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design to see the
differences in perceptions of SIMRS users before and after using the PIECES method. Data
analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test and marginal homogeneity test, while
qualitative research was carried out by extracting information on the application of the
PIECES method using a module. The results of the study are performance indicators with
a significance less than 0.05 (0.00<0.05), information indicators have a significance value
smaller than 0.05 (0.00<0.05), Economics indicators have a significance value less than 0
0.05 (0.00<0.05), the Control indicator obtained a significance value smaller than 0.05
(0.002<0.05), the Efficiency indicator obtained a significance value smaller than 0.05
(0.00<0, 05), the Services indicator has a significance value of less than 0.05 (0.00<0.05),
so it can be said that there is a difference in the results between the pretest and posttest on
indicators of performance, information, economics, control, efficiency, service. With the
implementation of the PIECES module, it can be said that it is quite good, effective and
feels useful and SIMRS users who are trained feel that their knowledge and understanding
increases
