Abstract

Postpartum is a recovery period from nine months of pregnancy and the birth process, called the puerperineum period. This period begins after the birth of the placenta and ends when the uterine organs return to their original condition, lasting approximately 6 weeks. A problem that often arises during this period is insufficient breast milk syndrome. Efforts to increase breast milk production can be done by providing stimulation in the form of massage, breastfeeding the baby as often as possible and providing date palm juice supplements. The aim of this final assignment is to provide midwifery care for postpartum mothers with a lack of breast milk production to increase breast milk production. The type of research method used is a descriptive method with a case study approach. The subject of the case is Mrs. Y 32 years old P3A0H3. Test results from the care provided for 7 days, namely by giving 45g of date palm juice in the morning and evening, there was an increase in breast milk volume. Using 45g date juice has a significant impact on breast milk both in terms of quantity and quality of breast milk. The result of the care provided is that Mrs.Y becomes smoother
